Progression Guide
There are several milestones to help guide you on the way. Use them to gauge your progression and to help determine your next course of action.
- Clear the campaign (at least until 6-10)
- 3-Star all campaign missions
- Claim all rewards from Newbie Quests
- Clear all missions at least once for the 1st clear reward
- Farm the Event for endgame resources
The current endgame is Chapter 6-20, although there really isn’t a need to push past Chapter 6-10 at the moment.
Your overall party strength is directly tied to the gacha. As such, the main focus is to gather resources and tickets to pull as much and as often as possible.
Progression Tips
- Hard campaign stages tend to be easier than the next Chapter stages (e.g. 1-1 Hard is easier than 2-1 Normal), so don’t be afraid to tackle them if you’re having difficulties progressing. Hard stages also tend to drop better Gear, which will go a long way towards building your team.
- You really don’t need to prioritise finishing the rest of the campaign once you’ve cleared 6-10. Focus your stamina on Events or the Resource missions in order to build up your team.
- By the time you’ve managed to clear 6-10, you will also be able to organically finish all the remaining Newbie Quest missions.
- 3 Stars is purely for the Chapter completion rewards. The main reason you’ll fail this is because one of your party members died. Failing, restarting & retreating from a stage refunds your stamina, meaning you can just keep trying until you get the 3 star.
- Later stages (Chapter 3+) start ramping up in difficulty to a ridiculous degree. Elite Stages in particular are the major roadblocks that will require planning and optimisation to overcome them. Don’t expect to 3 Star them until you’re much stronger.
End of Beginner’s Guide
If you’re having difficulties with progression, you’re not the only one. Being massively resource, stamina and currency starved is not a good combination. That, and the game is ridiculously hard. Now imagine you don’t have a single SSR. Seriously, stop being an idiot and go do your rerolls. The game’s brand new, you’re not losing much.
Some final tips before we go into Big Boy mode.
- Failing/restarting a stage before it ends does not consume stamina. Don’t be afraid to recon the stage first & restart when necessary.
- Auto is really bad, you’re going to need to manually clear most stages for the 3 star.
- Read the rest of the damn guide. It will help, trust me.
From this point on, I will assume you have cleared Chapter 2-2.
