Basic Stat Breakdown
HP – Survivability for your Persona, some Persona uses it for damage calculation or even healing.
ATK – For most Offensive, Support, and Recovery type Persona, the primary stat is used for damage calculation, but not all attacks scale with it. Some other types of Persona have Skills that scale off another Stat, which means ATK is not as useful to them.
DEF – For most Defensive type Persona, reduce incoming damage calculated along with D.RED, DEF stat also used for damage calculation for some Skills.
SPD – Flat stat that will calculate along with A.SPD, which determines the Turn Order for your Persona in your Party. Also used for damage calculation for some Skills.
CRT – Flat stat that will calculate along with CRTR that determines the Critical Rate for your Persona.
HIT – Flat stat that will convert and calculate along with HITR, which is whether an attack would land based on the target’s AVDR.
AVD – Flat stat that will convert and calculate along with AVDR, which is whether an incoming attack can be avoided based on the target’s HITR.
Advanced Stats
Stat | Description | Total Stat Calculation |
CRTR | Determines chance of producing a Critical hit | Persona Base CRTR% +Converted from flat CRT +Gear Bonus % +Relic %(if any) |
C.DMG | The amount of damage done by a Critical hit | Persona Base C.DMG% +Gear Bonus % +Relic %(if any) |
AVDR | The chance a Persona has of evading a hit | Persona Base AVDR% +Converted from flat AVD +Gear Bonus % +Relic %(if any) |
A.SPD | Determines the rate at which a Persona accumulates Move Points | Persona Base A.SPD% +Converted flat SPD +Gear Bonus % |
E.HIT | Determines chance of bestowing skill effects | Persona Base E.HIT% +Gear Bonus % +Relic %(if any) |
HITR | The Hit Rate against special enemies. The ultimate Hit Rate is influenced by the target’s AVDR. *Attacks against regular enemies are guaranteed to hit. | Persona Base HITR% is converted from flat HIT |
E.RES | Determines chance of resisting negative skill effects | Persona Base E.RES% +Gear Bonus % +Relic %(if any) |
D.RED | Damage Reduction | Persona Base D.RED% +Gear Bonus % +Relic %(if any) |
LS* | Life Steal | Persona Total Damage(1 hit) x (Relic% or Skill%)/100 |
CRTR – Directly increases your Critical Rate. Flat CRT is converted and added to the total CRTR%.
C.DMG – Increases the damage you deal on a Critical Hit. By default, all Critical Hit deals 1.5x damage.
AVDR – Directly increases your rate of avoiding attack, HITR also affects the rate of avoiding attack negatively. Flat AVD is converted and added to the total AVDR%.
A.SPD – Has a noticeable effect on Turn Order, and has a bigger impact on it than SPD alone. Math is hard, and we haven’t been able to pin down the formula. SPD is added onto the A.SPD to add up to final A.SPD.
E.HIT – Possibly the most important stat after HP & ATK, E.HIT raises the success rate on debuffs whereas E.RES will decrease the success rate.
HITR – To know what is the chance you can land an attack on your target.
E.RES – The chance that you can resist a negative skill effect such as debuffs. Some Skills are not affected by E.RES such as [Taunt] can’t be resisted or the Skill itself mentions it cannot be resisted etc.
D.RED – Like LS, this is pretty insignificant. If an enemy is hitting you for 3000 HP, you have a much bigger problem on your hands. Now with PvP, having D.RED with the likes of Shadowswift(Cartilla) and Pure White Love Song(Cartilla) can reduce significant amount of damage.
LS – Not really as good as it sounds. It scales better with bigger numbers, but it’s still fairly small. For reference, with 10% LS, dealing 3000 damage will heal you for 300 HP.
